VoiceThread is a simple but powerful web tool where teachers and students explore, share, collaborate and comment on visual media.

Teachers upload images or video using their accounts then post comments to prompt students in one of three ways: by typing text, recording their voice, or recording video.

Students also have their own accounts and can add comments from school or home as well as create their own VoiceThreads to share with others.

In Katy ISD we subscribe to katyisd.ed.voicethread.com and student work is accessible using a district supplied login. All Katy students have a VoiceThread account.
